Ladies, help me not sound like a creepy stalker.?

I talked to this girl a few months ago at college but only for about 5 mins. I didn't get her name but I know where she comes from and her college major. I occasionally see her around campus. I want to talk to her again. Should I mention something I learned from her months ago like "hey are you that girl from Bedford"? Will she like it that I remembered or be creeped out?
