Does life get any better after high-school?

Depends on lots of things. But if you get good grades, get into a tech school and learn a trade, you'll make alot more money. Just bear in mind that the key to being happy isn't having luxury, but being content with what you have. The more you need to be happy, the harder happiness is to achieve.
