Why don't you say Ali R.a. why are you using something we use for a prophet? Ali wasn't a prophet, why then?

Yes, thats not right. For Ali it shud be R.A. and for Muhammad, its S.A.W. (..or PBUH), cuz he was a Prophet and the Messenger of Allah
