If you require a Taxi or a Mini Cab, Is the Hirer responsible if the driver damages his cap while driving in P?

Unless the damage results DIRECTLY from instructions given by the client, the DRIVER is 100% responsible for his actions. Even then, the driver can and should REFUSE to comply with instructions that cannot be SAFELY complied with.
